Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe

The International Office is the central service division for international affairs at the Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe. The team is responsible for the information and mentoring of local students and professors who plan a stay abroad. Furthermore the team renders support for international students and professors at the four campus sites.

Study stay abroad for German students

The International Office coordinates the worldwide partnerships of the Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe as well as the participation of the departments in international exchange and cooperation programmes, such as the EU ERASMUS programme or DAAD programmes.

The International Office also informs and advises local students about the possibility of study or work stays abroad, including different ways of funding. The Hochschule OWL’s own scholarship programmes „go global Praxis“, „go Europe“ and „women worldwide“ as well as the programme „go overseas“ of the Hochschulgesellschaft OWL e.V. (Friends of the University) are notably to be mentioned.

Internationals at the Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe

International applicants contact the International Office when they wish to come to the Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe for an exchange semester or the whole study period. The International Office informs and advises about the application procedures and the requirements for the admission and registration at the Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe. Furthermore it coordinates a mentoring during the study time.
