Examination of the quality of the organisation of teaching and studies

Tasks

The examination committee appointed by the Senate of the higher education institution examines the quality of the organisation of teaching and studies at the higher education institution. It deals with the organisational provision of teaching at the higher education institution. The examination committee is usually activated upon application. If the examination committee determines considerable deficits in the quality of the organisation of teaching or studies, it recommends to the higher education institution that action is taken.

The legal foundations for the examination committee and its work are found in § 11 of the StBAG (Tuition Fees and University Charges Act) and § 6 of the StBAG - bylaws of the higher education institution.
