Master’s Programme in Architecture

Master’s Programme in Architecture

The Master’s Programme in Architecture is based on a four-semester course of study which builds on the material of the Bachelor’s Programme by means of integrative projects, and is intensified by means of scientific approaches.

The fields of urban planning, integrative design and renovation are explored. The basic idea here is the solution of complex assignments in architecture through creative and scientific strategies, and the integration of technical knowledge. The graduates thus receive fundamental skills in finding independent solutions to future problems.

The Master’s Degree in Architecture is awarded upon successful completion of this programme. This will enable the recipient to be enrolled as an architect after completion of at least two years of professional work. It forms the basis for an authorisation to present building documents. Moreover, he or she may then use the internationally acknowledged title of “Architect”.
