M3 - Facade Conference I

Goal of study / competences:

This core module is aiming to provide an actual overview of the actual façade business and its actors supplementing the modules Façade Basics (M1) and Façade Communication (M2).

The symposium and its related workshops take place in international surrounding and with other students and experts from different countries – mainly in the context of the European Façade Network (EFN).

Herewith the State of the Art and new developments are presented at a very early stage. As a result the students will benefit from a highly current knowledge transfer from professionally respected lecturers.

Also the students are enabled to listen, discuss and work in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams, which is considered to be a central competence of the later consultants.

Contents:

This module deals with different and specific themes and topics that are relevant for the façade design, construction and production. Content may also be related to important aspects of legislation and politics.

The workshops given by elected speakers of the symposiums will focus on the application of new material and technology developments.
