Goal of study / competences: The module provides an overview of up-to-date technologies and latest high-end projects from the lectures at the Façade Symposium. In addition an overview of new technologies for materials, construction, management and systems in the area of façade technologies is given in the conference related workshops.
Contents: The symposium is designed as the pivot of the module. Participation in this international symposium provides a practice-oriented view into building processes in neighboring countries. Through the national and international lecturers of the symposium, a broad and simultaneously specific focus on diverse topics is achieved.
The workshops held close to the conference emphasize latest developments through the exchange of expertise with the international colleagues of the European Façade Network (EFN). They are devoted to the use and application of new technologies for materials, construction, management and systems in the area of façades. Various lecturers present an overview of current research projects as well as technologies, production and processing methods already applied in other disciplines. The technology-transfer from neighboring fields will be furthered and accelerated. With the help of selected topics, the theoretical as well as the practical application of the new technologies is conveyed and tested. The objective of the module is the knowledge and creative application of new technologies, as well as a critical analysis of them.
