The focus of the subject area Building Physics and Structural Design is the construction and dimensioning of structures considering questions relating to the areas of heat, moisture and sound. It is aimed to guarantee damage-free buildings and structures and to provide comfortable living and working conditions for the users of such buildings and structures.
