Welcome to the homepage of the Professorship of Discrete Systems at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences in Lemgo. The Discrete Systems Group is established as a research group within the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science since 2004. The purpose of the professorship is conducting education and applied research for Technical Cognitive Systems with a focus on Image Processing and Pattern Recognition as well as on Sensor- and Information Fusion for Document Security ( Banknote and Document Inspection and Analysis) and Automation (Machine Conditioning and Flaw Diagnosis). Since 2007 the research group is part of the inIT - Institute Industrial IT.
