Courses of the department
The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics offers four accredited courses:
- Bachelor course of mechanical engineering studies
- Bachelor course of mechatronics studies
- Bachelor course of sunrise energy studies
- Master course of mechatronics systems studies
The mechatronics and mechatronics systems courses are run in co-operation with the electrical and information engineering department (FB 5).
Corresponding to the core competences of the two departments, the mechanical engineering and mechatronics department covers the mechanical/design part whereas the electrical and information engineering department concentrates on the electrical engineering and automation engineering aspects.
The first vocational qualification degree is the bachelor followed by the master course of studies at the end of which the student receives his “Master of Science” degree. This master degree qualifies the graduate for the executive and administrative grades in government organizations.
