Best Paper Award goes to inIT
The third International Conference of Advances in Cognitive Radio (COCORA) took place in Venice from the 21st to 26th of April, 2013- the world’s most important conference in the field of cognitive radio systems. Professor Uwe Meier and Dimitri Block, both from inIT, were awarded with the Best Paper Award for the best conference contribution.

OPC UA as an enabler for the internet of things

By an detailed design process of automation systems significant cost savings can be reached in the planning and commissioning of production facilities. This is the motto for the „IEEE 1588 Spring Plugfest“, being similar to a LAN party for developers. 21 leading enterprises from 13 countries followed the invitation of the institute of Industrial IT (inIT) and the Fraunhofer competence centre IOSB-INA in the CENTRUM INDUSTRIAL IT (CIIT) on the Lemgoer campus of the college OWL. Within three days, a new time synchronisation procedure for her calculators and network components was tested under optimal conditions.

inIT hat neue Räumlichkeiten bezogen
Am 2. April 2007 konnte das inIT - Institut Industrial IT seine neuen Räumlichkeiten auf dem Campus der Fachhochschule Lippe und Höxter in Lemgo beziehen. Durch diesen Schritt ist unser Institut nun auch in Form eines Gebäudes "anfaßbar" geworden. Dank der guten Detailplanung aller beteiligten Stellen, sowie der tatkräftigen Unterstützung durch die Institutsmitglieder, konnte die fachliche Arbeit bereits am nächsten Tag wieder aufgenommen werden.
