Prof. Dr.-Ing. Volker Lohweg (inIT) showed the current projects of his department at the Museum round at 2^nd May , 2011. During a charming presentation Prof. Lohweg gave the museum round a fascinating view to „Banknotes security and picture processing“. Especially he pointed out ways to identify counterfeit money at daily runtime. The presentation ends with standing ovations and a small introduction of the methodologies of the so called “Neapel-Connection”, one of the most known money counterfeiting organization in Italy.
