Cooperative Ph.D. program between inIT and University of Paderborn

Signed a Contract for cooperative Ph.D. studies (from left): Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Jasperneite (Director of the inIT), Dr. Oliver Herrmann (President of the OWL University of Applied Sciences), Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Risch (President of the University of Paderborn), Prof. Dr. Franz Josef Rammig (Dean of the EIM faculty of the University of Paderborn) .

Today, a contract for a cooperative Ph.D. program between the inIT - Institut Industrial IT of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences in Lemgo and the Computer Science Department of the Paderborn University was signed.
It is specifically designed for graduates of the master program Information Technology www.it-master.org and offers now a transparent structure and general conditions for those Ph.D. candidates in Lemgo, who wants to earn a "Dr."-Degree from a german university.

The Ph.D. candidate is supervised by a inIT- Professor in Lemgo and by a  Professor of Computer Science in PaderbornThe research strength of the Institut Industrial IT and the long-standing relationship to the faculty of electrical engineering, computer science and mathematics of the University of Paderborn are the most important enablers for this contract.
