Have you ever registrated online via our "Identity Management System"?
The first six digits of the password you have chosen there, are your password for the self service functions in our library catalogue and for the Digital Library.
You want to compile your literature at first?
Start your search either via
- Search in the DigiBib (simultaneous search in several pools)
- or eResources in the DigiBib
If you are interested in a special hit, you can check how you can get the article: press the button "check availibility". Often the book / journal is available at our library or we provide an online access. If not you can start an Interlibrary loan.
What about the costs of an order?
Your library user account will be charged with 1,50 for each order you placed. Journal articles can alternatively be paid with TANs (transaction numbers). You can obtain them at the information desk.
How can you get information about the state of your order?
After your request has been submitted, you can check the status of your book or article orders at Interlibrary loan / ILL account (via DigiBib).
You can list your book or article orders any time you like.
What will happen if you choose "Vormerkung durchführen" (making a reservation)?
If the media you wish to borrow is on loan everywhere, we try to make a reservation for you - if you wish us to do so. But be careful: reserving can delay the arrival of your media via Interlibrary loan.
Will there be an information about the arrival of your order?
Once the order has arrived, we will notify you by e-mail. Members of the university will be informed via their university-mail-adress (firstname.surname@hs-owl.de respectively firstname.surname@stud.hs-owl.de). You can retrieve these mails using webmail.
Are there any consequences due to new copy right?
Due to copyright revision from 01.01.2008 it's no longer possible to send electronic copies. We have to deliver your copies as paper copies.
