Graduates of this Master’s degree program can pursue careers in industry or research. They have the option to do challenging jobs in fields of development and support. Due to a wide range of subjects they are capable of interdisciplinary thinking. This enables them to promote the development of complex devices and systems.
Areas of activity can be found in the development of components and microsystems for robotics, automotive engineering, the control and regulation of plants and processes, the machine tool industry and drive engineering.
This Master’s degree program is based on Bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics (or comparable degrees).
Why study at Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences?
The program is offered in cooperation of two departments. Students of this program profit from the expertise of both the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics. The research focus “Intelligente Energiesysteme” (IES) is situated at the intersection of both departments. As a consequence, students can benefit from an optimal learning and working environment. Good networking relationships with industrial companies offer graduates optimal conditions to start their careers.
